Directors

A District Director is a non-partisan local citizen elected or appointed to a four year term of office.  Six Shenandoah Valley Soil & Water Conservation District (SVSWCD) Directors are elected in the general election process and two are appointed by the Virginia Soil and Water Conservation Board.  The Directors assess local conservation needs and provide leadership for the SVSWCD and set the tone for how the SVSWCD will operate, both internally and with the community.
