Paid Summer PSNT Position
SCHEDULE
- Summer 2022 (May-August)
- Variable – 2-5 days per week, 4-8 hours per day
- Full time seasonal paid position
The Shenandoah Valley Soil & Water Conservation District (SVSWCD) has an opening for seasonal employees to assist with the District’s Pre-Sidedress Nitrate Testing (PSNT) Program. Employee(s) will be responsible for performing a range of technical and administrative duties that pertain to the implementation of the PSNT Program. Responsibilities include regular contact with farmers requiring judgement and tact in all interactions. Supervision will be provided by SVSWCD staff.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and proficient computer skills. The ideal applicant will also have knowledge and experience in agriculture. See PSNT Technician Position Description for more details. Employment is conditional upon successful completion of background check. Hourly wage: $11-15/hour. No benefits provided. Seasonal employment will begin on or around May 23, 2022 and likely run through August 5, 2022, with varying hours each week.
